Experienced Automotive Technician

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour 
*Depending on experience and qualifications

We are located in Washington, DC 20016, and are looking for the right Technician to add to our team.

Candidate Requirements: 

  • 2-5 plus years of experience is required 
  • Multi-point inspection experience is required 
  • ASE training is preferred  
  • Must have own set of tools with toolbox 
  • Good driving record 
  • Solid attendance 
  • Positive Attitude and Integrity 

 
Ideal candidate will be able to perform the following: 

  • Identify problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment 
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly 
  • Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined 
  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires 
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors 
  • Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications 
  • Able to explain automotive problems and repairs 
  • Ability to diagnose and repair different makes and models including Europeans 
  • Ability to work as a team with Service Manager, Fellow Technicians and Management
